Peter Allman-Ward worked in finance for more than 30 years, with 25 years in the US securities industry. After several years in London with Arthur Young, he worked in Luxembourg for International Minerals & Chemical as the Chief Accountant for Europe before being transferred to New York in 1978 as Manager of Systems, Planning & Analysis for the Carbon Products Division.
He started on Wall Street in 1983 as the Finance Director of Morgan Grenfell Inc., a New York Stock Exchange member firm which acquired C. J. Lawrence in 1986 and of Morgan Grenfell Finance Inc., an early and significant participant in the interest rate swaps industry. After 5 years with Deutsche Bank in New York, in 1995 he became the Chief Financial Officer of Wedbush Morgan Securities Inc. in Los Angeles, a privately owned diversified investment bank. He established and became CEO of Wedbush Europe Ltd., completing its membership in the London and Warsaw Stock Exchanges in 2012.
Peter remained a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”) from 1973 to 2012 and continues as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), the publisher of the book entitled "Optimizing Company Cash" which he co-authored with Michèle.
Peter is the Chief Financial Officer of AWA. He continues to follow tax and accounting issues and especially the continuing developments in the regulation of US broker-dealers by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and offers consulting services in that area.
Peter is also primarily responsible for managing Windrock Estates.
